Advanced Therapy Care offers Pediatric Physical Therapy evaluations and treatment. Our physical therapy staff provides individualized therapy to fit your child’s needs. We currently have three physical therapy team members that work with our speech and occupational therapy staff to provide high quality services.
Physical therapy services at Advanced Therapy Care provide high quality, evidenced based and specialized care to improve mobility and increase independence in the home and community. Your child’s physical therapist will evaluate mobility skills, strength, balance, gait and endurance and assess how your child is functioning in their environment. This information is combined with patient and family goals to develop a treatment plan and determine frequency of therapy. In treatment, the therapist may work on exercises to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination and transfers. The therapist may also recommend assistive devices and equipment to improve functioning at home or in the community.
